Ask Alli what her favorite part of the workday is and she’ll tell you it’s writing. Driven by a desire to give consumers information that meets their needs, she regularly masters complicated health topics and translates them into easy-to-understand information. What’s she most proud of? The content she writes for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health, from blog entries for the director to web content for adolescent girls. In addition to her writing talents, she uses her smarts, enthusiasm, and cheerful personality to cultivate partnerships, engage spokespeople, and pitch media. Allison has a B.A. in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is working toward an M.A. in science writing from Johns Hopkins University.
A talented writer, Alli’s a pro at turning complex health information into consumer-friendly content. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her enjoying her other passions—hiking, trying new restaurants, and being a first-time aunt.
