Sergio Vigas

When Sergio wakes up every morning and sees new gray hairs on his head, he becomes more aware of how important education and mental health are for the youth. He is passionate about understanding the educational status quo of America’s youth and enjoys helping the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) produce communication campaigns for the betterment of our country’s education.

In his role at Hager Sharp, Sergio supports NCES by providing outreach, reporting, and public relations support for the U.S. Department of Education’s National Assessment of Educational Progress. He also leads the social media team for the National Associations for Behavioral Healthcare.

Prior to Hager Sharp, Sergio spent many years in the customer service industry. Through various customer service roles, he has learned to recognize and facilitate a client’s needs. Whether it was working in property management through JLL or caddying at Columbia Country Club in the summers, he worked hard to keep his clients happy.

When he isn’t working, he can be found playing basketball, tennis, or volleyball. If he isn’t out finding the best-reviewed restaurants, he is likely indoors enjoying the comforts of his home and contemplating which streaming app will provide the best entertainment for the night. If you ask him where he is from, he will proudly say Venezuela.
