Jennifer Wayman

With decades of experience designing national campaigns that benefit individuals and society, Jennifer has built a career out of making positive change in the world.

She is a respected thought leader in her field, serving on the editorial board of Social Marketing Quarterly, as a founding and former board member of the International Social Marketing Association, and as a member of Leadership Greater Washington.

Jennifer has extensive and proven experience leading campaigns that result in pervasive social change. This has included leading the creation of The Heart Truth®, an award-winning campaign that started the women’s heart health movement with its signature Red Dress symbol.

An expert in public health and safety, she has deep expertise in topics ranging from behavioral science and public-private partnerships to women’s health, healthy aging, cardiovascular disease, cancer, vaccines, and violence prevention. She has counseled dozens of nonprofit organizations, Fortune 100 companies, and federal government agencies throughout her career.

She holds a Master of Health Science in Behavioral Science and Health Education from The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Lehigh University. She was named the 2007 Washington PR Woman of the Year by Washington Women in Public Relations.

Jennifer leads Hager Sharp with a creative and entrepreneurial spirit. She enjoys traveling in search of adventure with her husband and four children and is a die-hard fan of the Washington Nationals.
