Emily Riley

At Hager Sharp, Emily supports work across several clients including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, United States Department of Agriculture, Arizona State University, ACT, and National Center for Education Statistics. Her work with these clients includes earned media planning, project management, media tracking, social listening, pitching, and press release writing and dissemination.

Emily also is a member of several internal teams including the daily health clips team, the Hager Sharp Roundup Blog team, and the quality control team, where she’s able to exercise her ability to monitor the nation’s most pressing health issues, draft monthly blog posts, and copy edit, respectively.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, running, watching ballet, and discovering new music. Emily is also on the hunt for DC’s best bagel sandwich—so if you have any suggestions, please let her know (so far, Call Your Mother is the place to beat).

Emily earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, in journalism and criminology, and criminal justice. Go Terps!

Emily did ballet for 12 years and has a soft spot for the performing arts. Her favorite ballets are Swan Lake and Giselle.
