Allyson loves words. Writing words; editing words; using words to communicate, convince, engage, and inspire.

She also loves numbers and the stories they tell.

As a digital content specialist and digital strategist at Hager Sharp, Allyson molds messages to fit multiple digital platforms and social media channels for maximum impact. She then uses outcomes data to optimize her clients’ resources and future endeavors.

With clients in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, she strives to use words and numbers to improve the lives of people across the country.

Prior to joining Hager Sharp, Allyson supported clients specializing in cancer research and policy, education, and biotechnology. Allyson has received a PRSA Thoth Award Certificate of Excellence, a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Award of Merit, and an NIH Plain Language Award. When not writing words or crunching data, Allyson can be found on theatrical stages and audio description headsets around the world.

A professional actor/singer, Allyson became a wordsmith and data geek through her need for accuracy and to delete double spaces after periods. She loves scuba diving, Waffle House, women’s issues, kitten gifs, and fast cars.
