Chelsie Pope, MPS
Chelsie is a creative communicator who thrives in strategic planning and discovering new ways to tell stories. She stays inspired by watching films, reading, listening to music and striving to better understand all aspects of the human experience.
Chelsie is passionate about contributing ideas and applying her diverse experiences to every task and project. Her experience ranges from coordinating photoshoots for a women’s magazine to writing scripts for a local daytime talk show.
Prior to working for Hager Sharp, Chelsie was the Multimedia Communications Associate for Venture Philanthropy Partners (VPP). In this role, Chelsie increased VPP’s online visibility and elevated its mission to create more education and career opportunities for under resourced young people in the greater Washington, DC area.
At Hager Sharp, Chelsie works on the health team providing strategic communication support to the Office on Women’s Health.
She received her MPS in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University. Here she earned the Social Impact Tropaia Award for her commitment to creating positive social change as a communicator and for advancing the mission of Georgetown’s Center for Social Impact Communication.
Chelsie also holds a BA in Public Relations from The University of Southern Mississippi.
Chelsie is an Alabama native whose southern hospitality and heart for social impact shines brightly through her work and her interactions with people. In her spare time, she loves documenting serendipitous experiences on Instagram and has recently taken up bullet journaling as a hobby.
