Chelsea Spring, MA

Account Supervisor

Chelsea serves as an account supervisor in Hager Sharp’s Education, Labor, and Economy practice. With a background in writing and a master’s degree in rhetorical theory, Chelsea brings a focus on what makes a compelling message to her work.

Chelsea has worked on issue campaigns and developed communication strategies for clients in broadband, healthcare, sustainable energy, infrastructure, and a variety of other industries. In her role as account supervisor, Chelsea supports the U.S. Department of Education’s National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) in producing the Nation’s Report Card—an assessment that examines what the nation’s students know and can do in key subject areas. Chelsea works closely with NAEP and other education-based clients on strategic planning, message development, and media relations.

A Twin Cities native, Chelsea earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Rhetorical Advocacy from Purdue University (Boiler Up!), and her master’s degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University.

When she’s not tinkering with messages, Chelsea can be found relaxing on a sunny patio, baking something sweet in her kitchen, or attempting yet another recipe to achieve the perfect latte.
