With a love for storytelling, purpose and culture, Catherine fell in love working with brands to help foster relationships, elevate brand awareness and create inspiring impact. A dedicated strategic communications leader, she is currently an account supervisor on Hager Sharp’s Education, Labor and Economy team.
By cultivating and honing integrated public relations strategies to maximize reach in new and niche audiences, Catherine has a proven track record of strong, everlasting results in a variety of public awareness and education campaigns, garnering earned news coverage in top tier media publications to buzzworthy influential digital initiatives for her clients. Her work has included strategic planning and media relations & digital communications implementation in equity, CSR and D&I programs related to pre-K to college education, community affairs, and healthcare innovation.
Catherine’s diverse portfolio includes Walmart Foundation, NEA Foundation’s Partners for Breakfast in the Classroom, National Parent Teachers Association, SAE Foundation, Heart Rhythm Society, Inova Health System and American Cleaning Institute. Prior to joining Hager Sharp, she recently worked in hospitality with clients such as AC Hotels by Marriott, Kimpton Hotels, and DowntownDC Business Improvement District – just to name a few.
Catherine holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Maryland, College Park (go Terps!), and is a member of ColorComm.
