Carolin Serafini, MPH
Senior Account Executive
As a research-driven communicator, Carolin has extensive experience in qualitative research, particularly around the topic of HIV; qualitative data analysis; community-based participatory research; and project management. Her professional interests include exploring the role of health communication in the elimination of health disparities, and integrating research and social marketing techniques to improve health.
At Hager Sharp, Carolin provides strategic communications support to health clients such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service’s Office on Women’s Health, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products, and the FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition. She currently assists with multicultural outreach, research, campaign material development, and crafting social media messages.
Carolin holds a Master of Public Health in global health communication from the George Washington University Milken Institute of Public Health. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in human services and public health from George Washington University.
Carolin enjoys travelling, HIIT workouts, and a strong cup of coffee, but most of all, she loves to help others. As a native of the Dominican Republic, the beach is her favorite place to be!
